We coached Pfizer’s Brand Managers and the Medical Affairs team for Lipitor – the #1 selling drug in the world — to present internally and externally to sales teams and industry colleagues.
Background. Pfizer’s international team of cardiology researchers are world renowned. While unparalleled in the lab, they were less brilliant speaking in front of an audience. Like so many technical professionals today, they had no idea this would become a key part of their job description.
The VP Medical Affairs initially hired us because he didn’t want to miss out on great ideas because his people could not articulate them clearly.
Then he asked us to help the team present to the field force and do a better job making their case for funding.
Our scope eventually included all the Brand Managers (Viagra, Revatio, Inspra, Caduette and more), the sales force, and Global Sr. VPs, as well as helping to ensure the entire team hit their research presentations out of the ballpark.
